Videos for grown-ups

Counts that read right
100,000 views now shows as 100K, not 1K - views, subscribers and likes everywhere.

Removing a video removes everything
When a video is removed, every file and every trace of it goes with it - its sizes, pictures, comments and its place in lists.
Promote your video inside the player
A promoted video can now play as a short, skippable spot before or in the middle of other videos and in Shorts, with a Watch now button.
Audio track for YouTube videos
A YouTube video that comes in several languages shows an Audio track row in the player's menu, and a word when it is also available in yours.
Shorts in the full player
Every Short plays in the site's own player now: the same picture quality, gestures and settings menu as a video, with a small gear in the corner.
Liked videos on a channel
A channel can show the videos it liked in a tab of their own.
This page
Everything new on the site is written down here as it arrives.
Memberships without advertisements
Members on an ad-free package see no advertisements anywhere - not on the pages and not in the player.
A sharper picture by itself
On Auto the player now steps up to a sharper size whenever your connection allows it.
A faster site
Pages open noticeably quicker.
Bring your whole YouTube channel
Add every video of a YouTube channel to yours in one go.
Videos start by themselves
Open a video and it plays; the next one follows when it ends.
Private messages
Write to another member from their channel. You decide who may write to you.
Switch between accounts
Stay signed in to several accounts and change from one to another in the menu.
New account settings
Two-step sign-in, a list of the devices you are signed in on, blocking, a copy of your data, and the choice to delete your account.
Carry on where you stopped
The player remembers how far you got and starts there next time.
Choose your thumbnail
Pick a frame of the video as its thumbnail, or upload a picture of your own.
